EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
September 2019 - July 2022
UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN
I graduated from University of Lincoln, where I was studying on the BA (Hons) degree in Technical Theatre and Stage Management. Like during college, while on this course my main focus was Stage Management. However I also still worked on building and developing my knowledge in other areas of theatre as I believe it is important to have a knowledge in all areas. I graduated this course with a First Class Honours. As well as two additional awards from the Lincoln School of Fine & Performing Arts. These being Outstanding achievement in Technical Theatre and Stage Management and Lincoln School of Fine and Performing Arts Student of the Year Award. Both which were a huge honour to receive.
September 2017 - July 2019
COLCHESTER INSTITUTE
I studied at Colchester Institute for 2 years in order to gain a 90 credit extended diploma in Technical Theatre and Stage Management as an equivalent to three A-levels. My overall grade for the course was the triple grade of Distinction/Merit/Merit. This is where my main focus and interest in Stage Management started. Here I took on roles within college performances working front of house, backstage, technical and stage management roles to support the colleges performances created by other courses. As well as performances that were brought into the college from outside companies.
September 2012 - June 2017
CLACTON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL
I studied at Clacton County High School for my GCSEs. Here I gained 6 GCSEs, grades A-C, and 2 BTECs with grades Distinction*. Clacton County High School was the first place I was introduced to Technical Theatre and Stage Management, when I chose Production Arts as a BTEC in year 9 as part of my GCSE options. Upon completing this subject with a Distinction*, I then decided I wanted to further my knowledge within the subject and study it at a higher level. From then on my love and passion for the industry has developed and continued to do so as I progressed through the rest of my studies.
